Quick Answers
Can a calculator tell me if someone is my twin flame?
No - no calculator can, including this one. Twin flame is a modern spiritual idea, not a measurable astronomical fact, and no birth chart computation can confirm or rule one out. What a chart can show honestly is your own wiring for deep attachment: how you bond, pursue, and feel safe.
What does this calculator actually compute?
Your own natal placements, computed with Swiss Ephemeris precision from your birth date, time, and place: Venus, Mars, Moon, and more, to the exact degree. It does not take two birth dates and output a compatibility score - it shows the real astronomical data behind your side of any connection.
How do I compare my chart with someone else's?
Right on this page, which opens in comparison mode by default. Enter a second person's birth date, time, and place alongside your own, and it surfaces four questions - attraction, emotional safety, communication, and pressure - each tied to a real cross-chart aspect, traceable to exact degrees. Not a compatibility score, not a full synastry reading.
Do I need my exact birth time?
Exact birth time is optional here. Venus and Mars hold a zodiac sign for weeks at a time, so an approximate time nearly always places them correctly; only sign-change days and your Moon's exact degree are sensitive to it. Check "I don't know my exact birth time" and we mark what still holds.
Does the comparison give me a compatibility score?
No. Venusward uses seven selected checks: six aspect patterns and one Sun-element comparison. Aspect matches include their orbs; the element comparison has no orb. These are editorial choices explained in the results, not a standardized relationship test. If either birth time is unknown, findings and counts are labeled as noon estimates.
Whose birth data can I enter for the second person?
Only birth data you have permission to share. The comparison form requires you to confirm you have that person's consent before it will submit, and their information is used the same way your own is: calculated for this one request and not stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling details.
What if I don't know the other person's exact birth time?
Check "I don't know my exact birth time" for that person, and the comparison switches to a noon chart for them. Venus, Mars, and Sun placements still calculate accurately, since those move slowly. Their Moon's exact degree, and any cross-chart aspect involving that Moon, is a noon-chart estimate and gets labeled as one wherever it appears. Their Rising sign and house positions aren't shown at all - and Ascendant or Midheaven aspects aren't part of this comparison for either person, known time or not.
Is this twin flame calculator free, or is there a catch?
Completely free: your placements calculate in full, with no signup, no email address, and no result locked behind a paywall. Venusward's separate $37 one-time report is a different product that goes further into what these placements mean together — mentioned once on this page as a plain link, never as a gate on your results.
Can I use my birthday alone, without an exact time?
Yes, for what matters most on this page. Venus and Mars each hold one zodiac sign for weeks at a time, so a birth date alone places both correctly on nearly every day of the year. Only your Moon's exact degree, and any Ascendant or house reading, needs a confirmed time to be accurate.
Why isn't this called a twin flame test?
Because a test implies a pass or fail, and no chart can hand one down for a relationship. What this page produces is closer to a mirror: two people's placements set side by side, or your own placements alone, calculated to the exact degree for you to read yourself. No verdict gets issued on your behalf.
How is this different from a twin flame test by date of birth?
A twin flame test by date of birth reduces two dates to a numerology-style percentage, with the underlying math rarely shown. This page instead computes two real birth charts - accounting for birth time and place when you have them - and checks the actual cross-chart aspects between them: the seven-indicator checklist above, not an invented score.
What This Calculator Actually Does
Most twin flame calculators ask for two birth dates and return a score — a percentage, a verdict, sometimes a countdown to an upsell. This page does something different, and it is worth being plain about it: it computes two real birth charts, using birth time and place when you have them, and checks the actual cross-chart aspects between them against seven selected checks — six aspect patterns with orbs and one Sun-element comparison. Unknown birth times produce labeled noon estimates. No score, no verdict, no pretending a number can settle a spiritual question. Prefer to look at just one chart? Birthday Only, or Birth Time Too?
A birth date alone covers most of what people search this page for. Venus and Mars each hold a single zodiac sign for two to eight weeks at a stretch, so entering just your birthday places both correctly on nearly every day of the year. That is the whole job of a birthday-only lookup, and it is already handled here without asking for a time.
Add your exact birth time and two more readings open up: your Moon's exact degree, which shifts roughly every two and a half days, and a full birth chart with Ascendant and houses. Those move by the hour, not the week, so an approximate time can misplace them even on a day when Venus and Mars land correctly. No time on hand? Check "I don't know my exact birth time" and see what a birth chart without a birth time can (and can't) still show. That same hour-by-hour sensitivity is usually why your Moon sign can differ by site even when your Venus and Mars signs match everywhere.
How Free Is This, Actually?
Genuinely free, not a trial. This page calculates your full placements — Venus, Mars, Moon, and more — with no signup, no email address, and no result held back behind a paywall. Run it as many times as you want, for yourself or anyone else.
What isn't free is a separate product: the $37 one-time report, which takes those same placements and writes roughly 8,000 words across twelve chapters, depth a calculator page was never going to fit into a results screen. See what's inside the full report if you want to go further. Wondering how that compares to what a session with an astrologer elsewhere typically runs? See what a birth chart reading actually costs for the wider picture.
Why We Don't Call This a "Twin Flame Test"
"Test" and "checker" both promise a verdict — pass or fail — and that is exactly what no chart can produce for a relationship. What this page offers instead is comparison: two real people's placements set side by side above, calculated to the exact degree, or your own placements alone if you switch to Just My Chart. It is a mirror to look into, not a judgment handed down.
Twin flame itself is a modern spiritual idea, not a technique found in classical astrology. No chart can confirm or rule one out, and any site claiming a formula for one is inventing it as it goes. For how the term compares to soulmate and other relationship words people use interchangeably, see our plain-English guide to relationship astrology terms.
What your own chart does show, honestly, is your side of intense bonds: Venus is the closeness you reach for, Mars is how you pursue it, and the Moon is what safety feels like once you have it. If a connection has ever felt fated and destabilizing at the same time, those three placements are usually where the pattern lives — not proof of anything about the other person, just a pattern you can see in yourself and work with.
What This Comparison Can and Can't Tell You
If your real question is "what is between me and this specific person," the comparison above is built for it: it lays two complete birth charts side by side, highlights four specific questions — how attraction and affection show up, what each of you needs to feel safe, where you understand each other and where you misread, and what happens under pressure — each tied to a real, verifiable cross-chart aspect, and adds six aspect-pattern checks plus one Sun-element comparison. The results explain the selected orbs and flag estimates when birth times are unknown. No score attached, on either layer.
That is genuinely useful, and it is not the whole picture. Synastry — the full technique for reading a relationship between two charts — goes further: it weaves every cross-chart aspect together, house by house, into a complete narrative about the connection, not just a checklist of indicators. Our plain-English guide to synastry explains that deeper method — a real, verifiable starting point either way, not the complete depth of the technique.
