Venusward: chart examples, source scope and corrections Revision: September 13, 2026 These are synthetic examples. No customer birth records or copyrighted book scans are included. Numerical evidence: /research/chart-evidence-2026-09-13.json Recalculation example: /research/recheck-chart-example.mjs 1. Time-zone example March 2, 1994, 06:14 local clock time; Chicago, 41.8781 N, 87.6298 W. The correct offset is UTC-6, giving 12:14 UT. Alternative offsets are deliberately wrong assumptions. All scenarios keep the Chicago coordinates fixed; the UTC-8 row does not move the birthplace to the Pacific coast. Swiss Ephemeris, geocentric tropical positions, Moshier mode. Placidus houses for angle examples. The published JSON includes unrounded longitudes. Sun and Moon display values round to the nearest arcminute. ASC and house-cusp displays retain the original fixture’s truncation to whole arcminutes; use the unrounded longitudes for comparisons. A script bug previously reused the baseline Julian day for the Sun in every scenario. Corrected September 13: Sun ranges from Pisces 11°26′ to 11°46′; Moon spans 4.807589 degrees and remains in Scorpio. This is not evidence that time-zone mistakes can never change a Sun or Moon sign. 2. Zodiac reference Lahiri ayanamsa is approximately 23°47′ for March 2, 1994, and 24°14′ for September 13, 2026 (both sampled at 12:14 UT). Natal conversions use the birth epoch, not the current date. Sidereal signs are twelve equal 30-degree divisions, not the unequal boundaries of visible constellations. 3. Houses and angles The Ascendant and Descendant retain their degrees when only the house system changes. The Descendant is 180 degrees opposite the Ascendant. Placidus places the seventh cusp there; Whole Sign places its seventh cusp at 0 degrees of the opposite sign. Planetary longitudes do not change when house boundaries change. Swiss Ephemeris interface reference: https://www.astro.com/swisseph/swephprg.htm 4. Empty-seventh simulation Original run: August 29, 2026; 20,000 synthetic UTC moments per geographic group, uniformly sampled from 1940 through 2005; mulberry32 seed 1. US group: ten equally weighted city locations, not actual birth counts. Global comparison: uniformly sampled latitude -60 to +60 and longitude -180 to +180, neither population weighted nor equal-area sampled. Ten-body set: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The extended list adds Chiron and the true North Node (a calculated point). US empty-seventh result: Placidus 49.02%, Whole Sign 49.10%. The aggregate rates are similar but individual charts can disagree. Placidus empty only: 12.77%; Whole Sign empty only: 12.84%; either-direction disagreement: 25.61%. Earlier articles mistakenly used a one-direction value for the total, or described the metric as any planet changing house. Both readings are incorrect. Mean empty houses, Placidus: 5.723, slightly fewer than half of twelve. These results say nothing about marriage, loneliness or relationship quality. Geographic and date sampling affect them. A small difference between two chosen geographic schemes does not establish lack of selection bias. The reported sampling uncertainty does not include that bias. 5. Unknown-time scan The existing scan covers 39,082 UTC calendar dates, 1920–2026. A Moon sign crossing occurred on 43.9% of those dates. This counts dates, not people, and is not a probability that a particular local birthday is ambiguous. A local-day interval must be checked for an individual chart. Aspects need their own orb-range check; they are not all fully intact when time is unknown. 6. Chat experiment The August 26, 2026 record describes 17 rounds, two synthetic inputs, one paid account and the displayed model label at that time. All five compared sign labels agreed in all rounds; degree deviations reached 9 arcminutes. A prompt asking for no tools did not disable tools at an environment level. Original visible-step counts mixed UI cues with execution evidence. A thinking timer is not proof of computation. A model's stated library is self-report unless inspectable execution supports it. These observations do not establish a causal tool effect, a population error rate or current product performance. 7. Interpretive sources and corrections Forrest, The Inner Sky, Moon section: an interpretive account of feelings. Arroyo, Chart Interpretation Handbook, printed p. 40: specifically the element of the Moon's sign; pp. 67–71 Venus signs; pp. 72–76 Mars signs. Sasportas, The Twelve Houses, printed pp. 72–73: general seventh-house partnership themes. Specific ruler examples are editorial applications. Printed pp. 76–81: the general eighth house. Applying it to Moon in the eighth is editorial synthesis. An earlier direct quotation on printed p. 79 changed a word; the revised article paraphrases the example rather than retaining the inaccurate quote. Book statements document astrological ideas, not validated psychological traits. 8.
